In 2017, I had the immense pleasure of working with Border Watch Films on a historical docudrama called “Operation Dynamo”, a WWII era docu-drama about the Dunkirk evacuation of 1940. I played the character of “Jean”, a young British woman whose fiance is fighting in France, and eventually, in the battle of Dunkirk.
I have always LOVED reading about history and watching historical documentaries, so this role was a bit of a dream come true for me! Another thing that was super fun about this film, and that I had never experienced before in my other work, was that it had zero dialogue between the characters. That means no scripted lines to memorize; it was basically like acting in a silent film, another favorite of mine!
